"Quantum” started as a boutique consultancy company in the year 2000 offering Investment Banking and Advisory services mainly to the Hospitality and Leisure industry. The company subsequently added real estate sector by offering transactional services comprising JVs, JDA and collaborations as also fund raising by way of debt and equity.
Quantum over the years has emerged the a trusted name amongst hoteliers, real estate developers, architects, planners. We have cultivated relationships with leading international hotel operators as well as homegrown brands.
The Company was jointly promoted by Anil and Narinder, who are both finance professionals. Prior to promoting Quantum, the directors were members of the founding team of Tourism Finance Corporation of India, the nodal FI for the hospitality & leisure industry. This has enabled Quantum to create a strong reputation for itself within the industry.
A qualified MBA from Virginia Tech., USA and commerce graduate from SRCC. He started his career with TFCI in January 1990 as a Management Trainee and left TFCI in 1998 at the peak of his career as the youngest Assistant General Manager to start his professional practice. During his tenure with TFCI, he was the head of Project Finance department and has independently handled over 100 projects – hotels, resorts, amusement parks, golf courses and time share projects.
Anil has been instrumental in landmark transactions in the hotel merger and acquisition space; raising of private equity & debt; and also development advisory
Narinder is a qualified MBA and was associated with TFCI since its inception as a part of the initial core team that started this FI in 1989. His experience with TFCI covers project appraisals, follow-up, resource mobilization and treasury which he was handling for 8 years during his stint with TFCI. He left TFCI in 1997 to join the multinational Vickers Ballas (Singapore based investment bank) as the Fund Manager to handle the $30 million private equity fund for the hospitality industry. Later he was elevated as Business Advisor and was associated with the fund till May 1998, when he left to start his own professional practice.
Narinder is instrumental in fund raising and restructuring for his clients and guides them in services like Operator identification, liaising with various government departments and feasibility studies.
